Blog 3.4: 9 Pads of CNSHS

I open my eyes, shocked that I was in a place all too familiar. Cavite National Science High School. I felt shivers run down my spine. I entered the gate not knowing what would be in stock for me.

The first thing I saw were students, they were in a line, writing their names in a sheet of paper with the huge "LATE" on top of it. I saw someone familiar, a fourth year student watching the late students. I tapped her shoulder but she didn't notice me. I tried to speak and say her name but no voice came out. And I knew deep inside, this is the first pad of CNSHS.

Off to the second pad, I walked to my right seeing a room I was in for a couple of times. The Guidance Office. I wasn't in there because of violations but because of some times I need to perform music. But from what I heard, it was terrible if you get inside because of violations.

The third pad was the Learning and Resource Center, where I barely get inside this year. I just go inside when I need to borrow research papers and that was like for three times. It was hot inside and I'm itching to leave.

I walked straightly to a place I was afraid of. The Science Center. When I was still a first year student, I'm always trembling to get inside there. Trying my best not to faint, I walked to the right, to the first and second year building.

The fourth pad, I enjoyed my days inside those classrooms. But I know that I've done a lot of sins there. I saw students trying their best to answer and understand the lessons, I proceeded to the fifth pad.

The CAT room. A man was inside, I knew him but I was afraid of him.

The sixth pad, the Maliksi Building. A place where I had genuine bonds with my bestest classmates and friends and teachers.

I continued walking to the seventh pad, the fourth year building. I stared at the building, hoping that I will experience walking inside them and claim myself a fourth year and graduating student.

The eight pad, the Canteen 2. I spend my money to.

The ninth pad was a place I never entered, a place that wasn't familiar to me. It is the Principal's Office. The principal inside decides who to expel and who to save. Who to give credit and who to ignore.

I sighed in relief as I finally reached the gate. And the last thing I remembered was when I stepped outside.

I opened my eyes, waking up from a strange dream. I looked around, I was inside my service as we enter the gates of the school I attend to for the past three years. I nod in determination. I will do my best in this school, with my friends, family and God's guidance.
