Blog 4.2: A Prayer to God

Dear God,

I want to start this prayer with a thank you.

Thank You God for giving me my parents. 

They may be not the perfect parents as I am a perfect daughter, but thank You for giving them to me. I could not wish for any other parents than them.

At times, we fight, but it was a normal thing. Sometimes I think that they’re very strict or very nosy but I know that they’re just doing that because they care and they love me. 

I wanted to thank them for being there for me, for waking me up everyday, for cooking us food everyday, for working hard for us, for providing us or needs, for giving us things we want, for supporting me all the way, for appreciating everything I do, for keeping up with my pranks, jokes and troubles, for letting me obsess with a boyband, for being nosy and strict, for being caring for me, for loving me, for everything and for being my mom.

I will thank them until I get old and have my own family. Forever is not enough to thank them. And words are not enough to express my gratitude to them.

God, please bless my parents. Please give them what they deserve. Please give them more strength to face problems that will come to our way. 

Again, thank You God for giving me such wonderful parents.
